The firs release from The Pour Horse was a draft horse mare named "Saucy." Unable to afford a glazed version, I bought a bisque copy and gaveit a new tail and made it a gelding. This was done in oils, but I didnot prep the surface first (I had heard this was an unnescessary step whenpainting bisque.) The oils were virtually sucked off my brush ontothis horse, so in the end, the techniques used were very similar to arcrylics.
